We have a great Trainee opportunity for an individual to join our Building Control Team, who ensure that building work meets legal and building regulation/safety standards, and is properly designed and constructed. The successful candidate will pursue an acknowledged course of study leading to a recognised professional qualification, and develop a rewarding career in Building Control.

The job will involve assisting our team, in dealing with members of the public/architects/building companies, on matters relating to building regulations and associated legislation, examining plans for compliance, and carrying out site inspections and other related tasks, as you develop in your career.

You will need a full driving licence, valid in the UK and daily access to a car. You must be enthusiastic, and willing to use excellent communication skills, to work with professionals, and members of the public, to deliver facts and advice. You will also need to be able to work to strict deadlines. You will need to have skills that enable you to deal with numeric detail and plans.
