Tenancy Sustainment Lead Officer

£33,279- £35,769 pa (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting) + Lease Car Allowance
37 hours per week

This is a great opportunity to be involved with leading the Tenancy Sustainment Team.

As part of a busy, but friendly and supportive team you will be responsible for line managing four Tenancy Sustainment Officers and our team Surveyor,  carrying out 1-2-1’s and Personal Development Reviews.  Duties will include providing practical advice, information and support on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance and life skills. A good knowledge of Housing Legislation, Council policy and upcoming changes in this area would be an advantage. 

You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with tenants, colleagues and partner organisations (both statutory and voluntary). You will have previous experience in line managing a team  and have the ability to give clear direction to Officers regarding their case load and appreciate the demands this can present. 

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable individual who is committed to enhancing the lives of some of the most vulnerable households within our society and work well under pressure in order to solve complex problems.

You will need a full driving licence which is valid in the UK, and use of a vehicle.

A check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate for the above post has no relevant convictions.
