Could you work well as part of a lively team to communicate key messages to service users, colleagues and partners?

This is an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave. 

You will have an editorial role on the design and content of webpages, social media, leaflets, and publications. You would be required to tailor your writing style to a range of audiences and produce formal reports, housing publications as well as blogs and social media updates. Attention to detail and accuracy will be essential.  

You will require the ability to interpret complex, technical information and present the key messages in an easily understood format. You will need to be confident to make presentations to management, staff and partner organisations. An ability to work cooperatively with others even when under pressure is vital.  

You will need to demonstrate an ability to make effective use of Word, Powerpoint, and other office software, and be able to learn new systems to manage social media and other marketing tools to communicate effectively.  

Experience of working to tight deadlines, writing grant and accreditation submissions and an eye for design would also be useful within this role.
