£46,392 - £48,445 per annum including London Fringe Weighting and Car Allowance


An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join us in this permanent role within the Strategic Housing Service.

You will be responsible for developing the council’s social housing offer through engagement with customers and partners, giving detailed insight into key work streams through reviews, audits and tenant led scrutiny, enabling further development of the service through improvement activity.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to undertake presentations on behalf of the service at National Conferences, Scrutiny and Committee meetings, plus management of the Housing Service’s communications and social media activity. You will have excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to develop and sustain key relationships internally and externally. You will work closely with Team Leaders, Group Managers and the Assistant Director to co-ordinate the strategic direction of the service.

You will have experience of managing a high profile team, and project delivery. You will be required to develop key strategies and policy initiatives across all areas of housing, including Tenant’s and Leaseholders, Asset Management, Homelessness & Allocations and the Private Rented Sector.
